Research

The research activities of the Biophysics and Nuclear Medicine team at the Faculty of Medicine and the Montpellier University Hospital (CHRU) focus primarily on functional, metabolic, and molecular imaging.  Team members thus have access, both for research and clinical activities, to various medical imaging devices such as two positron emission tomographs, three SPECT-CT hybrid gamma cameras, a CZT gamma camera dedicated to cardiac studies, and two bone densitometry devices.  The team also has two “hot” laboratories, two laminar flow hoods for cell labeling, and a radioimmunoassay laboratory.
